Hand Polish of Teak wood main doors

my painter saying doing hand polish may not last very long but machine one will last long. Is it so?

I have decided to go for hand polish ,and need to know what precaution need to take care so that it will last long..

based on my experience, your painter may be correct. I got my main door hand polish (didn't listen to my painter) and now I can see the door is already faded out.
Go for machine polish with PU Spray so that it lasts longer. I am planning to get machine polish with PU paint (water color) spray for all my doors and windows as I have done complete polish for all my windows and doors.
