Group plots project at Mysore

Hello ALL,
My friend is planning to start a project at Mysore. The idea behind this is to have a plot at a place which is not too far from Mysore city, around 15 or 20 kms from city. In this project, the group is to have about 10 to 15 members only. Then purchasing about 5 acres of agriculture land and dividing it into 10 or 15 parts apart from leaving space for roads and other basic amenities like water, drainage etc.,.
The main focus of the project is to have greenery by developing good and useful plants and trees such as mango, neem, lemon, jasmine, coconut etc., for each plot.
Since we go for agriculture land, it is going to work out economical, compared to outside market. We can also build our vacation home within this plot.

How is this? Whoever is interested may please reply and let us try to make this a success.

nice idea Prakash.. make sure that the 5 members or the buyer has phani! its needed to buy agricultural land in India..

Hi duffyhair,
Thats correct. People who don't have a 'pahani' can also join this, as the land will be converted, so that people without pahani can also go for it without any legal restrictions. I am of the opinion that legal formalities must be followed in its entirity. Its true that most people may not have pahani. We will make sure that land is converted and all legal terms are followed.

We are thinking that the price range would be between 10 and 12 lakhs. Still it is under calculations. This is based on preliminary estimations. Details will be worked out and shared in this forum. At this stage, let us wait for more details. Once we have clarity and a plan in place, then we can form a group and go further to achieve on what we want to do.

Hello friends,
I want this project to succeed. Thats why I am making every effort to come out with ground realities. I will be working with a good local team to help us in all the direct and indirect efforts involved. In that way, we can achieve the goal without dodging time and money. People who want to join may also have to show interest and committments for success.
