Re: Engineered Acasia for Window/Door
I bought these doors for our house. All interior doors (except for 2 bathrooms - where the size was something they could not make). I bought from Geetha timbers itself. When we first got it, I was thinking of painting it - so that the finger joints that are present and visible (as part of the manufacturing) can be covered up. But my architect requested me to test with just polishing it. After it was done, I love how it looks. There are 3 exterior doors also for which I have used these, I painted only those 3 doors.
Love it. Not only does it look beautiful, it is quite sturdy as well.
Cost difference (I would not be able to provide exact difference between teak and engineered wood), but let me tell you - my main door and puja room door were teak (just 2 doors) and I spent about rs. 30000. The engineered wood doors were about rs. 2500 per door (not including frames).
here are a couple of pictures for how they look.

How to Reach Geetha Timbers
From Yeshavantapur travel towards Jalahalli circle, it on rightside just 100mts before Jalahalli cirle (Oposite to VOLVO plant/fcatory)
about water proof: It's Same property as Natural wood, Not Plywood or Flush door. so we need to care same as we care for Normal wood
They won't come and fix it, we need to give the Frame (Door Windows) Dimensions and they will make it factory, so we need to have carpenter to fix it. will post more info as i proceed with Order
