Every stone is polished smoothly. There is no concept of a smooth finish & a semi smooth finish. There is a leather texture finish for the granite/ marble - which is different from what we are discussing.

Quality of Sadarahalli is determined by the uniformity of the grains & the black patches. More uniform grains without black patch is the first quality. Flamed sadarahalli is made by applying high pressure flames on the granite.

I have used flamed sadarahalli for the exterior staircase & the balcony. Flamed stone can be created accross all varieties of the granite.

there is a price advantage in jigani as there are many processing units who also happen to retail the granite. audigodi is best known for unscrupulous elements all over!!

Those cut pieces are really rough, but granite person need to cut those. i visited adugudi 1 week back they mentioned as 72 rs tile piece ,then another type 98 rs and another one leather type 110 Rs not sure where did you got 55 Rs. Which shop?

it is vertical slab 3.5 *10 length 20mm thickness ...in most of the shop the price is rs 55 to 65 for sadrahli granite smooth finish and ther is another granite called sira ...for flamed it is rs 95 and smooth finish is rs 90 for vertical slabs

only in rpg the person told me rs90 for sadrahli for vertical slab and when i told him that all r selling for 55 to 65 n y is so costly here n he was like its first quality ...for staircase if it is first or third quality doesnt make much difference and i just walked away and i didnt see any of the slabs

in first quality u see grains n clean wher as in second qaulity u see lot of bigger grains

have any 1 used sandstone for wall cladding ?

Sadrahalli is same size as you mentioned .Price he quoted 90 was for sira one as i remember not for sadrahalli. I visited Hindustan marbles he told 2*2 it 100 Rs smooth one means per square feet is 50 rs so it is same as price you. Sadrahalli they mentioned 65 for smooth tile based 1*1 piece,a shop diagnally opposite to RPG. RPG is not good as everything on granite is over priced.......
