finolex vs havells for wiring

which one is better - havells or finolex? both from cost and quality perspective.

what i heard is that their is lot of fake finolex cables in the market. so be careful before u buy. Havells is a good product. i dont know about the price difference.

Finolex or havells are make sure they are genuine.Once you buy the material you can always call the company guy to check the product.As such both are good brands.

My house G+1+1.5 floor, 2300 Sq.ft, I bought (havells) Standard wires for 50.5k, I got good quote for finolex around 45.5k. so difference will be 5k extra for havells.

I think 32-35% on finolex & Havells around 50%, even though havells 40% (90mtrs) 50% (180mtrs) discount its still costlier than finolex.

Heared discounts for RR Kabel wires. is RR Kabel wires are good quality or better to go with Finolex ?

With Bill - 38 % discount - inclusion of taxes
Without Bill - 40% discount - inclusion of taxes

is it good discount or should i bargain more on this ?

Is there any difference in buying from local and from market ? My electrician saying there will be some difference but there are plenty of duplicates in finolex so better to go for local shops which he knows. does any difference between buying from market and locallly?

How to avoid duplicates, is BVK iyenger ,vaibhav etc sells duplicates as they are reputed dealers?. Please share your thoughts...

He asked to buy one coils of 40 sq.mm ,2.5 sq.mm, 1.5 sq.mm, 1.0 sq.mm. How much roughly it cost per coils if anyone recently bought in finolex and havels??? .

I heard Dandapani and Co on JC Road (Behind Sivaji theater) is the authorized dealer for finolex. So buying from there should save you from the duplicates. I am not sure of the discounts etc. in this shop. Also, I believe he does not give any material without a bill. So add 14.5% VAT to the cost.
