Modular Switches for Home

Post by velusamys »

Am constructing my home G Floor(Own purpose) + F Floor (rented). I would like to know the best modular swicthes.

G Floor - Electrician referring the MK (Honeywell).

F Floor - My options are quality modular swictches with low cost. (Look & Sytle doesn't matter).

What is the maximum discounts for MK, Legrand, Anchor, Havells modular switches ?

Can any one suggest the best modular switches for the Own & rented purpose house ?

Thanks,
Velu

35 to 45 % on the MRP directly purchased from the company authorised dealers.
Sometimes upto 50% on selected ones.

I am planning to purchase Modular switches for my house from BVK Iyengar road this week. I will post the rates for various brands once I purchase them. If anyone is planning for purchasing their Modular swiches this week you can drop me a message and we can try to get good deals.

Hi Mahesh, Where did you get above 55% on mrp for Anchor? For the anchor switch boxes I got only 50% in Kadirenahalli, Prakash Electricals.
I'm also looking for legrand boxes and switches? Can anyone suggest the best proce and the store for that?
Thanks!

Has anyone heard or used GM branded switches etc? My builder is proposing this, saying he has used in other projects and is better than Anchor. Any suggestions?

I purchased Legrand Modular Switches yesterday from Vaibhav Lightronics. (BVK Iyengar street). I got 50% discount on it.
For Havells MCB, I got 50% discount too. They stock Legrand, Havells & schneider electric switches. They dont have GM switches.
However when I enquired the discounts for GM, they offer 38% discount on it in different shops in BVK.

What type of discount is this? 50%,40%? Is this not cheating? I feel its unfair business.WHo is fixing the MRP? If the guy is giving you so much discount, just imagine the blown up rates.
