feedback on maruthi housing society, vasanthpura

Hi, We were looking for house for the last 1 year but the search has not been successful. now we are looking at buying a plot in maruthi housing society vasanthpura. Are there any members here who are currently living there? Can anyone help with the following questions?

1.Current value/sq ft
2.General feedback on the layout - How is the area?
3.Water availability/Safety concerns/COnnectivity
4.Scope of general development in the area
5.Since this is a BDA approved layout and not a BDA layout , are the individual sites A khata or BDA khata?/ How safe is it to buy such sites?

Hello - I did not see any feedback in this thread from anybody on this Layout. However, I am also planning to buy a plot in Maruthi Housing Society layout.

Kindly let me know if you happen to get any more info on this layout.

We were looking into Maruthi layout couple of years ago.I think its well planned layout. It appears that the land came from BDA to the society but they got the approval from the CMC/panchayat. I'm not very sure on that. pl check with the lawyer on that.

Waht the rate now over there? It was arounf 2500 at that time.

I am living in near Maruthi layout and I frequented there as early as last week. The layout is fast developing. Lot of houses have come up and it is spaceous. Near to Devarakere adds lung space to the layout. It is also at an elevated place. I have not heard any legal issues there. The last (6months ago) I got quote from Agent was 50 lakhs for a 30x40 West facing and 55lakhs for 30x40 east facing. They would have sold by now.
If you are planing to settle down, I would recommend this area.
