Yesterday's Times Of India carries contradictory headlines in different pages about Bangalore City.
Which one to believe .!????.
Page 1: Bangalore Best Indian City to Live in: Survey.
Page 2: Bangalore Ranks Among Four Worst Asian Cites, Shows Research.
Page 5: Bangalore Ranks low in Infrastructure.
These are the guys who always make hype about Real Estate and misguiding the consumers claiming, metro is coming in this area, IT park is coming there, Flyover/Underpass will appreciate the property prices......etc, as they get major Revenue from the advertisements of the Builders and Developers. Also they are share holders in many real estate companies.

Yes, have noticed too.Times of india is the crappiest paper ever and wish people stop reading it.

Very true. Even we shifted to Hindu because of lengthy useless articles about anything and everything. These days, cross selling of their other products also increased a lot. Real Estate section tries to promote Magic Bricks, India Times Shopping ads, Follo in BT, Times Now content etc. We feel that relevant content is limited and self promotion and other promotions are getting more preference these days. No wonder they do a lot of business for paid content also.

Agree with your views. I stopped TOI since a year now, quite happy with Deccan Hearld.

The problem with "Hindu" is its rabid left wing bias. It is nauseating. Deccan Herald is the best bet amongst English Papers in Bangalore.

I think deccan has a balanced view. personally prefer it. Most of the time TOI has paid news, which confuses the reader.

I am a reader of Deccan Herald for the past 37 years and I have been subscribing its sister publication Prajavani for the past 3 years. Many times I have subscribed other newpapers for periods 1-2 months, paralally. I can say that Deccan Herald is the best English Newspaper and Prajavani is the BEST NEWS PAPER. But, I have one grouse against DH. I occassionally write letters to 'Letters to the editor' column and 'Peoples complaint's column'. Whenever I write about MP3 Player nuisance in BMTC buses or reconstruction of demolished bus shelter at Cantonment Railway station, they wont publish them. I have written about 6 letters on each of these subjects. But they publish most of my other letters. This is something which I could not figure out. Though this forum is meant for real estate discussion, since the topic of Deccan Herald came up, I just wanted to vent my feelings.

Its an awareness for all of us, not to get fooled by these unprofessional n unethical medias. its not the debate on which news paper is reliable ?. When you weigh them, all are same. whoever pays them, they publish the positive n catchy news towards their favor. They play with our hard earned money.
