Tankless/wall-mounted toilet?

Post by rajuraikar »

My plumber suggested installing tankless wall-mounted toilet (direct flush) due to the small area (3'x4') in one of the attached toilet,
for wall-mounted direct flush toilet he says i would require 3/4 inch separate pipe directly from overhead tank.
I also heard that there would be waste of water because in one flush around 6-8 liters of waters would drain away through toilet

require your assistance in deciding if i should go ahead with wall-mounted toilet, any other issues/experiences?

Wall mounted is expensive and any maintenance is costly. Of course it looks better and occupies lesser space

You can go with wall mounted commode due to space constraint. I was planning to install direct flush, however I opted for installing a concealed tank option.
Yes, you would require a 3/4 inch or 1 inch separate pipe line if you want a direct flush. In one of the particular model of Jaguar I had seen, you have 5 lts or 10 lts of water that would drain.
I have heard that maintenance of direct flush is a problem if you run into issues. But I am not sure on this. Maybe some experienced member can provide more inputs here.
