Indus steel - 51000/- per ton
Meenakshi - 47200/- per ton

I bought indus steel (1.3Ton) yesterday from Meenakshi Steel at Vignana nagar (New thipsandra)
Per Ton - 52900 Rs / including Vat + Transport.

Hi amarbs,
Where do u got indus steel for 51K does it includes Vat+Transport.
Pls share the contact.

This includes VAT, but excludes transportation. This is from Prem Traders, Mathikere, Bangalore North.

I advise members, to use tier-1 steel manufacturers(TATA,SAIL,VIZAG,JSW),as the cost penalty is minimal.But the quality and standards are assured.
Also if quantity is more then purchase from bigger distributors, as the scales are more reliable and you pay for what u weigh.
Steel prices seemed to have eased, Purchased SAIL(500D) steel 1.79 tonnes, @45+VAT,from Budhigere cross.The same was 51+VAT 2 months back.

Can you give contact? . I enquired near my area and there is no SAIL, VIZA or JSW stell only Prime, Indus, Meenakshi,Tata are considered as Tier 1/Fe500 ones, and rest all fore FE415 Tier 2 steels. Is cost inclusive of transportation/VAT etc?. I am doing construction at Ramurthy Nagar. You can send PM as well ,if you share in forum will benefit all. i took 1.6 ton Prime/Meenkshi (FE500) at 48000 a ton......

Today, I bought Chamundi steel @ 46850 per tonne inclusive of transportation(4km, 1.7 tonnes).

Today i check the price of SAIL steel from Triveni.

8 MM per tonne Rs 47,500/=
10 mm per tone Rs 46,500/=
all other mms is Rs 46000/=
