Chlorpyriphos - costs less than 1.5k for 5 liter which should be sufficient for 30x40 site
Do not give this item job for contractor or external agency, they charge you around 6 to 7k
Ask a laborer to mix Chlorpyriphos with water (per specification, it is 1:20) but you don't need to bother too much about it mixing it correctly, rough estimate will do (since contractor or external agency will also do the same though they boast themselves on quality and accuracy), then he should do holes in the plinth area and outside surrounding area at a distance of 2 ft b/w holes and depth of 1/2 to 1 ft and pour the solution till the holes fill up.
You will be done within budget of 1.5 to 2k max. I learnt it after losing money :)

Can you please explain on this little more? "then he should do holes in the plinth area and outside surrounding area at a distance of 2 ft b/w holes and depth of 1/2 to 1 ft and pour the solution till the holes fill up"

1 . how can we put holes in the foundation ?. Are you saying below the foundation ie in the soil or above the foundation (between the plinth beam and foundation top?
2.Outside the surrounding area means what? . hole-> 2 fet-> hole->2 ft->hole ........... under the plinth area,. Is this correct?

3. Where do i get this solution?

1) Soil below foundation before putting PCC bed. that is after excavation and before PCC bed
2) Soil inside and surrounding area after filling the foundation and contrsuction of plinth

2.Outside the surrounding area means what? . hole-> 2 fet-> hole->2 ft->hole ........... under the plinth area,. Is this correct?
Around the house or plinth area so that house is protected from around and not just under floor

3. Where do i get this solution?
contractor purchased it, i think justdial, asklaila shd give you pointers

call me if you need further details, i have sent my contact to you over PM

Hi Sam
You get the chemical in any fertilizer chem shops (off course its difficult to find one in the city ).You can get it in the market easily.
The simple understanding is that chemical should reach deep in to the ground and spread all along the site ,below footing etc...you can make holes at frequent intervals of deep 2' and just pour the chemical mix in it.

So in market so many people handles such hazard chemical without knowing about it. As i will said shortcut without educating them self or save cost or not knowing the details . So i kindly request the experts not to suggest without basic knowledge of it t. If we professional recommned such thing it is like doctor killing a life . that is why i request admin to restrict and review any technical issues raised by the client without Experts of particular field.
If arch related question it should be replied by architect
if it is related to structural engineering. it should be replied by the structural enginner
if it is engineering. it should be replied by the engineer with the approval of architect and structural engineer
Commercial i left to client to decide after getting technical datas from the profeession
