Good News Namma Metro Rail Project not touching Anjanapura

Couple of east facing 20x30 sites in in 11th block is being quoted as 21lacs as a final price, which is approx. 3.5k/sft, which was 2.1k - 2.5k/sft a year back. How come price is shot up ? Is this organic?
Anyways am not debating here. Everyone has his/her views & am not here to change.

There are a lot of BBMP A Khatha Sites around Anjanapura. Any Idea on what would be the price for them. Today I saw some houses being advertised for 50 L 30*40 Duplex,. Is it advisable to go for them ?

would there by any litigations for such sites ? has anybody tried out these sites?

Hello Satyanarayan,

In fact the map you have shown confirms Metro coming to Anjanapura. On one side you have the Gottigere stop closer to 11th block and on the other side of Anjanapura, again there would be a stop on Kanakapura road. This map is nothing new. This is the only layout which has Metro on both sides...

For JP Nagar 8th phase, the closest stop would be Hulimavu gate near Meenakshi temple.

Sathyanaryan - Prices have been going up for all real estate. Please do a comparison for apartment prices 1.5 years ago. Anjanapura prices were depressed relative to BSK6 because it was not easily accessible but now roads have improved. Also people realise that it will eventually be a good layout with Metro on either side, easy access to BG and Nice road(and thus Electronic City).

Brokers typically have more say in BDA plots since as msn1970 pointed out, BDA allottees are older and don't use internet as much the newer generation. Anjanapura has brokers everywhere. Just go to the 80 ft road and you will see atleast 2 of them.

For the Gottigere-Nagwara metro line, looks like Brigade Road station construction work will start by end of this year.

Any idea where exactly in Gottigere will the metro station come up. Is it near to NICE junction?

Yes, in this version of the metro map, the final stop takes an eastward swing from Kanakapura Rd. This is the only map where it does that. Everywhere else, the last stop is at Nice Rd and Kanakapura Rd. I doubt it will make a swing eastward but will be happy if it does.

What I am hoping for is a future metro along the nice road corridor connecting tumkur rd to electronic city. If it materialises, I hope I will live long enough to see it(I am not that old)

Let us not focus too much on where the metro will be or will not be. The most important thing for Anjanapura is to get BWSSB connections for water and sewage. Once we have basic amenities, people can start constructing there.
