I thought godrej interio kitchen work is on the costly side . They told me that for my kitchen ( 12 X 8 ) a rough estimate would be anything above 1.5Lakhs ( with plywood shutters, it would be > 1.8L is what I was told). How much was quoted for you.

I did not visit Godrej showroom. I went to triveni showroom in koramangala and they sell steel wardrobes. Price starts from 19K.

Recently I visited a furniture manufacturing unit on Mysore Road, near Guddadahalli. They do all types of furniture with particle boards. The cost of customised wardrobes is Rs.550 for ordinary particle board, 650 for Bhutan board and Rs. 900 for water proof particle board. How is this Bhutan board ? Will it stand rough usage ? How about the ready made wardrobes (using the same Bhutan or other particle board material) ?
