Flush

Hi,

I have initially decided to go with tankless flush. Later when I visited the showroom, I saw a few display of concealed cistern (jaquar, grohe, geberit) and was told to go for it.

So, which is a better flush option - tankless or one with concealed cistern ?

Hi Vimal
Flush valves are tough to change in case of any problem in future.Concealed cistern is better in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

just for that reason - of being able to change / fix parts I prefer the regular tank kind of toilet seat. Besides, the concealed costs you more anyways (I do agree that it looks nicer).

Chhabria and Sons is a very good place to shop around. They have a store in SJP road where they have put Geberit/Grohe/Jaquar concealed tanks & hindware shitpot models on display. They have another showroom (new) in commercial street where they have put Roca, American Standards, Grohe and Noken models on display. In addition to that I visited several places such as Sandeep ceramics, maruthi ceramics, hemadri ceramics, sai gallery, pc mallappa, pc sampath, sriram ceramics. Chhabria is the best in terms of customer service and choice of models to look around. For a healthy body & living, what goes in and what goes out are two important activities that need to be governed as it happens everyday. We have several options for input (food) and for output home toilet is the only one available when you start your day and that relieving experience need to be good. It is better to spend time and not to worry about throwing extra money for something that goes down the drain

Thanks Vimal for the update. Yes, I have been to Chhabria & Sons in Commercial street. Do you know what is the % of discount they offer on the final prices on the products?
Also how was your experience with Hemadri?

28% net discount on hindware. It is lesser for imported models. There was no need to bargain as I found them giving the best price. Hemadri is also a good shop to look around but they did not have what I was looking for.

I purchased Sanitaryware from Chhabria & Sons from Commercial street. Got the following NET discounts:
28% discount on Hindware products. (This they source from their other Shop in SJP Road)
18% discount on Jaguar products.
17% discount on Gebrit products.
16% discount on Artize products.
