However, insulation tapes were very bad. I called Mahindra (shop) and he has agreed to take back all insulation tapes. I am yet to revisit the shop.
It seems two type of Finolex cable are present in the market. one is Delhi make and other one Pune make. Pune make is 3 to 4 times costly. Do not know Why?

Hi kmkklk, do you mean Mahendra Industrial Suppliers on BVK Iyengar road? Also where did you buy other electrical fittings (switches, etc.). And what discounts did you get?

@kmkklk, thanks. I was asking since you mentioned "Mahindra" while I could only find "Mahendra" on google (and justdial).
I have never come across Phillips switches. Are they good and how do they compare with a brand like Legrand? Whats their warranty? Also what discounts did you get?

I think this is the correct address... since the phone number mentioned by kmkklk matches the address in google.

I am getting a final quote including VAT of 70% of MRP for hindware and 80% of MRP for Jaquar from Rajath Galleria. http://www.justdial.com/Bangalore/Rajat ... S8L7_BZDET
Is this a good deal? Anyone had experience with this dealer?

If you go to KR Market, you would get even 22% on Jaguar. But its a dirty place. I took many items from a very small shop called Hind Hardwares. 22% is for low-volume purchases. I didnt do any high-volume from KR Market, so dont know what would be the max possible

Thanks, Jayadas. Is that net discount including VAT also? Some provide discount on MRP and add VAT to it. Do they also give bills?

Also, I was told that some shops might keep duplicate spares inside. Any way to find out the authenticity of the part (I will insist on the Jaquar warranty certificate)

including vat(no other charges on the top) . Dont remember if they will give bills(They might), you can check with store. But one thing i noticed about KR market is, most of the people dont keep the stock. They just arrange between the stores and get you. May be duplicates are there in the system, but I didnt find(or couldnt make out) if any of the items I purchased was a duplicate. (To me, KR Market is not a place where people sell duplicates. ). THe sellers in KR Market are not much interested in selling branded items as their margins are less. Given a chance, they will push for non-Brands only
