hi

Internal/external 10 per sqft means
if ur having a wall of say 10 * 10 :100 sqft then for that wall u have to pay 1000:
Im having around 6000--7000 sqft will be paying somewhere b/w 75k to 80k..
asofnow he is taking weekly wages..and imroughly checking howmuch he is covering up...& paying

if u get someone less than 10 persqft u can go for it..i have a hall 15 by 15 which they finished almost in 3 days(2 mason,1 helper) but if i calculate i have to pay 7000 for it

hopeit helps

The rate is very high for labour rate. In this rate you can get work done with material.

Hi velu

He has written labour rate as 8000/100 sqft. This is more than what I pay as item rate with material. Please check.

My contractor has quoted a rate of Rs 31 per sqft( for both material, labour) for plastering. cement will be Ramco 43 grade, Trichy river sand. 3/4 inch plastering. lime rendering including scaffolding, finishing, curing

Based on the discussion in this forum, If labour rates are between 10-15/sqft, does material cost and scaffolding expenses cost another Rs15/sq feet?. What should be a workable rate for the above specification?.

1. When i get quote i got for 210 rupees with centering/conrete/scaffolding/plastering etc for inside pillar to pillar but they do quote half rate outside means 105 rupees for chajja outside/balconey/car parking cover extension/lintel extension outside/floor plastering compound wall outside. My question is if i get quote for chajja 15 rs,exterior platering 10 rs etc as mentioned above it is much cheaper. Is my assumption right?

2. is rate of 210 for all inclusive is good as earlier somebody in forum mentioned current rate is 190 rs .
