What will be cost for sump?

Hi

I enquired for sump ,and my contractors is saying i will do for 30K (9000 liters) cement block one and stating RCC would cost more. He is saying block one will last long if you put mesh /water proof coating. How reliable it is?. . 30K does not include mesh charges/digging which is additional this is only for the mason work.

how did RCC costs per cubft construction?

For my sump construction around 10.5ltrs, labour charge for manson came 9.5K & I think for earth excavation its Rs 7 Cft.
I went for Red bricks, I think it cost 9K. Mesh & Nails - 1000Rs.

so your is approximately 8*8*6 ft sump

total cost is mason charge 9500
excavation 2597
Mesh/nails 1000
Bricks - 9000

Total - 22907
So your toal cost is 22097 is that right?

if i add water proof coating then it will cost another 800 Rs, Then total would only be 23K which max can come. so not geeting why one mason charging 30K only for masonary work ,rest all not included. Thank for you sharing.

Current market rates for RCC SUMP LABOUR:

Rs 2.5 to Rs 3/ Liter. If it is 3, it includes excavation too.

If i go for JCB excavation for sump for 8*8*6 with RCC then my cost would be less, am i right? .

I can accommodate 2.5 Rs per litre RCC sump with excavation. Is it right assumption?

My Sump size - 8'3" x 6" x 7' 6" depth.

8*8*6=384. 7rs/ CFT @ 2268 Rs. JCB hires is for a minumum 4 hrs..check what suits you.

In some areas JCB charges around 700 Rs/hour. I don't know, how accurate you will get your earth excavated for your sump with JCB. You may require one labour to make it perfect size & refill the side way after the sump build.

my sump is also similar to urs 7.6*5*7.9 depth ...hope it can store aeound 7k liters of water

my sump earth evacuation is done by 5 people at rs6 per cft in 1 day paid rs2850

jcb is good option per hr 700 but u dont get the exact shape n size so again u have to hire atleast 2 people to get the complete the work
