APCO block price ?

hi Keethi,

Do you went with APCO or any other brand. I'm seeking for good solid block with 26-28 Rs range.
I can find some solid blocks nearby my construction site, but its not good one.

2day i checked yale solid blocks for 6inches rs26 www.ycoblocks.in

and sapthagiri hills which is near ittmadgu he is also quoting rs25 for 6inches they were using 53grade jsw cement

i tested the block by droping on the floor it actually broke into small pieces

all use 53grade cement and 4 weeks curing ....quality wise i feel all r same im in a dillema to go for local blocks or branded company blocks

i need suggestions from u guys

I havent started construction yet. But will be using APCO 6 inches C Grade (35 kg/cm) block.

The quote I received was 30.40 & 33.xx per 6" block for c grade and e grade blocks

i contacted them now they r telling rs 36 for 6inch solid block E grade +tax and transportation just wanted to confirm with u

Thats without transport and tax. Did you write to sales team of APCO to get the quote OR did you get it by any middlemen?

6 inches e grade rs 35.50 includes tax+transportation+4%discount

Today I bought 6" cement solid blocks from RH solid blocks from hoskote, they are charging 25 Rs including transportation.
I have other solid blocks manufacturer nearby madevapura, I can see quality difference between them. my mason suggested to go with same brand further. I need to make sure whether they will deliver blocks in consistent quality.

Am always in dilemma when it comes to cement block and clay bricks. If we are opting for Apco or other branded cement block wouldn't it be the same cost of clay bricks. Off-course the usage of cement and labour goes considerably high however, seeing Bangalore getting too hot clay bricks shall help us in long run.
