Construction a house - Issue

Hi ,

My brother is construction a house in 30*40 area.The guy next to his site has already constructed a house in complete 30*40 area in his area not leaving 2 feet space.Is there any way to complain to BBMP so that they can take any action to demolish 2 feet belong to his area , we are ready to even go to lawyer for this case.Please suggest.

Hi Sudeendra,

My Gentle advice, please dont go to any lawyer or BBMP guys its just waste of money and your time. More you will invite Pressure and Tension.

The only suggestion is you can also built to his side without leaving any space. if you think about ventilation there is no way !

Dont get into tension we have to concentrate on building our house, we will do this after all one time in our life at bangalore.

Yes exactly - We did the same and that guy gave a complaint to BBMP.Now BBMP guys came and issued a notice to my brother saying he should leave 2 feet on all sides else they will give notice to stop the construction.Hence we are thinking to agree to this and consult lawyer so that we should give some tension to that guy as well.

even im facing the same probs my site is encroched by 2 sides that is 1 feet in south n 1*3 by south west corner and east side he construsted thehouse complete leaving no space ....while getting bbmp plan sanction he told that we have to take the actual site measurment to get planed sanction so we did n got plan sanctioned n we have decided to leave the encroched area in the setback n once we construct the builindg completely then we can demolish or take the enchroched area ...in case in the middle we fight with other house owner then he might object n it will be very difficult to complete the construction of the house ..so we r leaving setbacks on all 4 sides ..we have no other option
