Regarding a Common Bore well for the entire layout

Hello Everybody,

We have a newly built layout with 150 sites and have recently formed an owners association also. The hot topic now is whether to have individual bore wells or common bore wells for the layout with water meter fixed for each house. Most of the members are in favor of common bore well. Please share your thoughts on this along with the advantages and disadvantages of the common bore well in the layout. I would also appreciate if you could provide few examples where the common bore well system has been implemented by the layouts.

I recently visited a layout formed by group of people. The co-ordinator was cautious that the sites where bore is dug has to have a separate conditions like sharing borewell water etc. If you are digging the borewell in a open area then this should not be a problem.
Forming a common borewell and forming a layout wide RWH will definitely have a softer footprint on nature.

By the way do you have any site available? If yes, what is the area? -:)
