Price for plot at nisarga in 2012

Hi all, Can you please tell me what is the sft rate for 40x60 east in the layout (nirman shelters nisarga at bannerghetta road)? I am looking to buy and am quoted arbitrary prices around 1600. Is this a worthy purchase for constructing (not investment).

I was able to negotiate it down to 1525. Considering that the price in this layout has not changed since early last year, I am wondering if I would be better off leaving my money in FD that fetch 9.25% interest now and buy in a couple of years. This is the dilemma am in. Do you guys have any thoughts?

i feel the rate is bit high. Prices are nisarga layout are coming down...since there are no buyers..it is still far from many installations..

If you pay 25% more on Nisaraga price, you can get the plot in Anjanapura. NIsarga is atleast 10 km away from Anjanapura. In next 5 years i think Anjanapura will appreciate better than Nisarga.
