charges for electrician

Post by Iyyappan »

Hi,

For my duplex house which has around 2500 sq.ft, electrician asked me around Rs25,000.
Is it reasonable charge? Please guide me.

What does the rs. 25000 cover? If it is even just for wiring - I think it is very cheap.

Normally for a 1200 SFT plot, the charges are 13K. This however does not include installing the electrucal fixtures as in fans/ tube lights/ gate lights/ exterior posts. Hence, 25K in your case is a good price...please ask him explicitly, what the agreement does not cover & have a formal agreement done with him on the scope of work.

Hi,
25000/- for a construction area of 2500 sft is reasonable .average 10 per sft .Just check with him about the calculation of floor area ,what will happen if he give connections to main gate lights and take the setback areas also in to his calculations
