Your most of the money can be saved by not giving the project to Engineer. ;)
I feel the quotation for 20*30 site measurement is slightly high.You need to spend another 10-15 lakhs extra for the other items(mentioned at last in excel sheet) which are not included.Total will be around 45-48 lakhs ...

Is this a labor contract ? if yes, then while making agreement you should have left that to Mason.
Dont spend money on purchasing/renting for vibrator.
Mason will be having their own vibrator or they will rent by themselves for using for concrete work.It is their responsibility to have ...

I have got a quotation for plumbing for 4 bathrooms+2 kitchens +Rain water harvesting(RWH) + Road cutting + Solar fittings + any alterations for 50k.
Is this reasonable price ? or the estimation is more ? Please suggest.

I would like to go for marble but don't know the current cost/sq-ft.
Granite of good quality is around 100/sq-ft.I need atleast 2400 sq ft.

But the engineer says all the materilas used for making steel is the same.It just the brand name "INDUS" people will go with.
INDUS will give the correct dia of steel.(16mm,10mm exact)
As you said,using cheap materials will keep on falshing in my head for life time ...

Have started with the digging for placing of footing and columns.
Am in dilema which steel tmt bars to put.
My doubt is ,If the steel is ISI standard then can i put any steel tmt bars ?
Some of the ISI standard bars : Pulkit,Azad,Gopala,Vinyaka,Indus.
Indus is costlier than all the steel ...
