@jakalbda, any more details about the person like name, how much he charges, any recommendations for his work etc?

I would prefer not to disclose the name here as the lawyer dint want me to do it. Btw its a "she" and the charges were 7500 in total . It was for doc verofication, agreement preparation and final sale deed preparation. On the registration day , she came with me and took care of all the sub-registrar offices's legal as well as not-so-legal formalities

was there any extra charge for the not-so-legal formalities ??

I can highly recommend an advocate whose offices are located in Indiranagar. His turn around time is usually much larger than the others that you typically come across in Bangalore, but that is because he does his due diligence.

@pponnada, how about disclosing price and services offered like revealed by jakalbda?

@jakalbda..... how much you had to pay to get your registration? I am referring to the handling charges and not the actual cost of registration.
Some people/re consultants charge around 10 k for this. so over all 10 K + Registration amount.

After this another 10 K for khata transer + Actual Khata transfer amount.

In my opinion, area is not a constraint to avail the legal services & registration, as it can be done at any of the sub registrar offices near to you rather than the property related area.

Recently my relative bought a BMRDA plot which is after electronic city. For legal verification, agreement + Sale Deed preparation & registration facilitation, approached a lawyer from Rajajinagar, who provided end to end services till the registration. The registration was done at Basavanagudi sub-registrar office. He charged very reasonably for his services(Around Rs. 4K).
