Hi Velu,
Kota stone is a slate stone that can be polished with wax.It is brittle.Gives you a very ethnic feel.
Mostly used in cladding, exterior pavements, parking, garden areas. Can also be used for inside flooring.
Color choice is purely person choice.I would prefer mix of brown and green in some decent patterns.

Hi velu,
Kota stone is slate stone ,in general they are soft in nature.fading of color will happen on exposure to sun light.
You find them in any office complex service stair cases.it is alternative to granite in commercial terms.
If you have budget for vitrified go for it,since the variety ,strength are advantage points

Hello All,
Most often we hear about Granite, Marble or Kota stone for flooring.
Can anyone throw some light on other alternative natural stones that can be used for flooring inside the house - which are good looking (NOT Shabad or tandur or Kadapa).
