Hi smvdvs,
Generally speaking the plot numbers would be 4 digit numbers. In rare cases where BDA has alloted odd or corner plots to the previous owners of the land, then the plots are numbered as four digits / alphanumeral like 1234/3 or 6789/ A. These are very remote cases, I have seen. But I'm not sure if that is the norm followed by BDA.
If you are buying any plot it would always be better to get Ec for atleast 3 or 4 decades.

Hello, I also have a site in Ph VI. I have visited the site a few years back. Can anyone intimate the current state of the infrastructure there and as to how many houses are constructed there? Actually, I was worried since I heard some rumours that there is encroachment of vacant sites in some areas in Blore. Is that happening in SMV layout as well? Also, what is the going rate there currently?

Still the development is going on in all blk of smv,if u pay ur tax regularly and get the EC frequently than u need not to worry for those thing
better to visit ur site frequently if its not possible ask ur friends to do so.
Rate in smv depends on block and some other criteria and varies from RS 2000 to RS 3000 PSFT

Status on 5th Block: A temple ( some goddess) has come up on the 5th block main road connecting Ullalroad, deepa complex. Don't know whether it is CA site. Few 60x40 owners have started building the house.

But still no water/sanity connection and even i saw empty poles.
