I bought the below material for house construction recently
1. Vizag Steel: 53.5 + GST
2. MSand Double wash: 1150 per ton (20tons)
3. 20mm Jally: 825 per ton (20 tons)
4. Ramco OPC : 370 per bag

Ashirvad Tank 3 layer white : 6.65 rs per liter
2000L tank for 13300/-

Brought birla super 53 grade @385 per bags.

I heard from Cement retailer that Cement price will be increased by 30 to 40rs per bag across all brands from March.. Is it true??

Indus TMT went down to 61 rs per kg in Feb 2021 but now its increasing again steadily and at 66Rs
Increase in fuel prices is not helping either. Everyone says this as reason for msand,aggregate,cement etc.

Can just hope it won't be true. We got to wait and watch.

Cement prices going up before summer is yearly tactic cement companies are big cartel and they have been even fined by CCI . Every year before summer prices pick up as bulk purchases and storage take place.
After monsoon sets in shelf life of cement goes down and prices breakdown as well.
Cement was touching as high as 400+ in April 2019 cooled down to 320- 330 levels again went up in last summer came down and now at 360-370,
so yes expect it to be around 380-390 again in April May and again it should start reducing from July.
Buy a 100 lot bag now and use RMC wherever possible RMC vendors purchase in bulk containers not in bags so have lower impact.

Looks like Cement price will go up and steel will come down in future
