two times i have purchsed red sal

1st time cut peice second quality which is seasoned n rs 900 2months back and 2nd time cut peice from log which was not seasoned for rs1000 decent quality ...evry time its very difficult for me to buy red sal ....we wont get the decent quality wood ..checked 3 to 5 timberyard see the wood n buy the best available wood either cut peices or log .....ya this timei will be buying cut peices only reson is coz it seasoned wood

The timber yard merchants dupe the customers by saying it is seasoned wood. If you see it is only 50% seasoned.

I heard the timber yard near jakkur aerodrome next to Shell petrol bunk is good.

Better check with 2-3 timber yards. Take a good carpenter with you to find out the best seasoned wood

does the burma teak price include cuttnig and planing charges and VAT? PLease let me as I have to buy urgently and doing lot of reasearch. All are quoting above rs3000 plus vat for burma teak cut pieces

Bangaluruboy: The price is for cutsize. You need to add VAT, Planing, thattu design charges etc

Coromental PPC Cement : Rs 330 per bag - I bought 50 Nos Lot. My nearby site person told Coromental PPC delivered at Rs 317 I don't know how true?

@Jolly - 1875 for Aus hinne is also a god rate. Some of the saw mills that I inquired are quoting 1950 to 2100 for the cut piece. Pl provide the details of the shop.
