Can i buy a site under Due associates at hosa road

I visited the layout last Saturday, I am very disheartened to see that there has been no progress since many months. Still no permanent electricity for the 2nd phase, weeds have grown back to shoulder height, no work is being done since a few months as confirmed by the security guard. I keep following up with some representative from Duo atleast once every 3 months, but all I get is false promises that everything will be done in a couple of months but that has been the case since last 2 years. As I understand there is not much work left to do, but whats left is quite expensive, like asphalting, paying BESCOM fees. I doubt if the builder is serious about completing this layout at all.

I am planning to buy a plot in Duo City Phase 1, But the plot was in list of unreleased plots in Duo City phase 1, the seller is saying it is released, but how I can confirm? is there any site/place where they give list of all released plots? And is there any issues that I should be aware of in Duo City Phase 1?

I think 1st phase is clear of all issues as it's 100% released. It's 2nd phase where you have to be careful. But it is always better you get the documents verified from your lawyer. Could you please tell us what is the quoted price per sqft in the first phase?

I live nearby this layout. I had enquired to buy a plot some time ago but did not come in my budget at that time. From what I know Phase 1 is clear in general but as Kiran said anyway you need to get the individual papers verified. In Phase 2 also many plots are clear and phase 2 is actually closer to the access road.
But development in phase 2 is not complete, some plots are not released and for some plots only you need to get a NOC from IDBI bank before registration. No legal issues that I have heard. BTW phase 2 is called Duo South County as per BDA approvals.
Phase 1 all plots are released, to double check you can contact the BDA office and get confirmation from them. In general I see the layout developing from the past 2 years.

Even I'm very disappointed to see no progress in layout's work..I follow up with their office and speak to madhavi every 2 months and i always hear 2 months story that all work will be completed in 2 months..I'm thinking sell my plot since nothing is happening from past 3 yrs.. recently in dec 2014 there was a notice from IDBI to auction Duo associate's lands at 3 different locations in bangalore..I do appreciate other members to share any updates if they have..thanks..

I talked to Madhavi and got to know that there was a meeting with Duo plot owners last Sunday and it was agreed that work will start from 20th of April and to complete it in next 2 months. Requesting other members to share more updates if they have..

I could not attend the meeting last time as I was away but I also heard the same. In my opinion it is worth holding on for a while to see if something positive happens (but my opinion may be biased ). Phase 1 at least is seeing lot of activity off late. Some of us are constructing in phase 2 also. Will let you know next time the association meeting happens, maybe u can join if interested, or you can join the yahoo groups if you have not already joined.

Last time I visited, around a month ago, roads and drains were being cleaned for laying asphalt. Is there any update on the progress of work in the layout?
