so far we have not had any rain water come in. The glass portion extends out beyond the skylight rectangle and has about a 5" lip around the open area. It has been no problem yet. But I could not say with complete certainty if there will not be an issue when there are heavy winds.

I am constructing a new house & planning for 2 sky lights of sizes 2 feet X 2feet can any one refer who does the neat job.
Project location is near Tumkur road.

Can you please let me know the sealant that needs to be used for skylighy(toughened glass on grill work).

for glass on grill work, i think Metal paste will be required.

Hi,
We have a skylight of dimension 4x4 ft and are looking for professional who can do the design, installation , water proofing etc.
Can anybody please send the contact details of such professionals? We contacted one person who quoted Rs. 55K for 4x4ft dome shaped skylight which we felt was way too high..
This is very urgent..
