Regarding the Lintels, Don't know where are all places you planned inside the House (Rooms, Kitchen).
I hope you have considered where the Wardrobes will put later & Cot will be placed in the Rooms.

Lintel should come North side of the Wall in the Rooms as Usually nobody will sleep putting Head towards North Side.

Sometimes Lintels will become constraint for the Interiors design, If you want to modify later during wood work.
Moreover now a days it is avoided as you need to make the frames for the Lintels to make it box

Since it is initial, just check & proceed before putting the Mould for this.

I have chejjas inside the kitchen initially planned for a "L" shape. But i think i will ask them only on one of the walls. I dont want it to be constraint latter while fitting the modern kitchen cabinets/boxes. In the room i putting it as per the plan received from Architect where he has marked the wardrobe to be fixed. however in the masterbedroom on the top will not have any chejjas.

Hey Martin,

The rings used for internal staircase and not for external staircase, was it designed by the Architect and given to you through Structural drawings or done solely by the contractor?

@Ramki - The rings were done by the contractor. We had discussed along with my uncle who is into construction work in Kerala. The thickness will be around 3 1/2 inches with granite finished it will be 4 inches.
