Dear Santhosh,
Some fine points!!!
Basic price of cement Rs.340/Bag- Koramandal king - you will need mix of 43, 53, PPC depending on work. please check what happens to differential amount
Basic price of river sand Rs 50/Cft - price is now Rs 65-85 pcft
Basic price of brick Rs 6.5/Each- Best quality ones are much more than that. ask him to mention brand name.
Flooring costs and terraces are way too high.
Usually, electrical + plumbing is 15-18% depending on what u choose.
Add: Electrical works 6% considered(Excluding Fittings) - Way too high only for wiring and pipes.

Review quotation for material contract
Re: Review quotation for material contract
@nagzzz, thanks for your reply. I did talk to the contractor. Below are the outcome -
1. He agreed to take price difference of +5% in cement cost without charging me
2. He agreed for sand price he will manage in the same cost
3. for Electrical and plumbing he has'nt given itemized price as we dont have electrical and plumbing drawings. According to him the provisional cost he has given may already cover basic fittings as well and complete estimation depends on what fittings I choose and how electrical and plumbing plans come out.
I haven't gotten into a contract yet and still in negotiation phase. Any inputs like above are really helpful and I request experienced ppl around this forum to give inputs.
Thanks,
Santosh

Re: Review quotation for material contract
I checked your quotation with the quote that I had got and it is mostly in line. In some items, your quotation is higher and in some, my contractor has quoted higher. I'd got 2-3 quotes and also done comparision with other quotes in this forum, so I think on the whole it is fine.
Though one thing I checked, your specs are for 43 grade cement whereas my contractor has been using 53 grade. I am not sure what the difference is or should be
