I never said civil engineers are unreliable.Neither in this post or any post in the forum.May be you are reading site in-charges as civil engineers.To my knowledge site in-charges are just diploma in civil kind of guys.
Reliability doesn't mean they are bad ,they are not stable in one job,since everyone need an entry point they join with small job and with out any commitment they just run away for big jobs.
Individual owners cannot afford for this.

Not all Site In charges are unstable . I too agree that few people will keep on jump from one company to other company very occasionally .
I accept that this kind of people are not reliable . But this kind of people are there in all type of Industries . This depends on the Company also . Right ?
And Coming to small residential building constructions . There are only few people believe that they required a professional person to monitor their house construction activities . And if they recruit any person they wont pay good packages . They may be ready to pay more rate to the Contractor but they don't want to pay good package to the Technical person who monitor the work . So he obviously will choose best offer ...
Do you think this kind of decision will be taken by only Civil engineers .... ?

Dear KVS Setty/swarupr, If you have the doubt of quality in the construction work, Do check for an Structural Engineer/Designer for an weekly/fortnightly appointment. Since I had followed the same during my house construction.
