I think could be around RS 2300 PSFT,still BDA is under process of completing them, may be in another year u find them

Do we have the process in BDA to check the khata status online ? if so the link would help us, I have applied khata two months back still it is not given to me.

Hi, this is again a question, in regards to the request made by the other member. Is it required to ask/collect Khata periodically (once every few years)? I was under a feeling that khata provided by BDA during site registration is sufficient, till there is no changes made in the ownership (meaning transfer of the property) to some other person's name. Appreciate if someone can provide a clarification on this. Also, can somebody pass on any information that is available in regards to Khata, the need to have it, at what periodicity one should ask for it, etc. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have purchad a site from old allotee and applied for Khata in BDA, still not received the same so thats the reason for above query.

yes the khata provided by BDA during registration is sufficient, but if you are buying the site from old allotee than again you require a khata to transfer the property on ur name.

Khata - meaning I got from net is.

A Khata is an account of assessment of a property, recording details about the property such as size, location, built up area and so on for the purpose of payment of property tax. It is also a kind of identification of the person who is primarily liable for payment of property tax. It is one of the required documents in case you require a building licence, trade licence or loan from banks or any other financial institutions.

I understand once khata given by BDA is ok untill the layout falls under BDA's control, later BDA will hand over its layout to BBMP for the maintenance, once this is done than u require BBMP khata for ur site.

Hi 169039, Thanks for the response. That was excellent. The site I possess is directly allotted from BDA, means that there is no need to ask for a Khata now. I remember you mentioning about the price in 4th Block Vishveshwariah Layout to be around INR 2300 per sq. ft. With the revised guidance value, it must have shot up, I guess. Let me know if you get a chance to figure it out. By the way, do I presume that you too have a property in 4th Block? May be once we should catch up with each other. Thanks for the reply again. Great to hear that u got a direct allottment from BDA, actually I own a site in 1st block north face , purchased just six months back@ RS 1900.

I understand the prices in SMV must have shot up just one more month we need to wait, I am not sure still abt the prices,I will contact some of my colleagues and let u know abt the same ( I guess its around RS3000+ its my personal guess). Anyhow I have a plan to build my dream house here in 1st block
