Cost of Fencing/compound wall for a 4000 sq ft plot.

Hi
I am buying a plot of 4000sq ft. What would be the cost of getting it fenced/compound walled.
Any particular people/profesionals do it?

Hi,

I am also looking for a reliable person to construct a compound wall, 2 feet in stones below the ground level and 4.5 feet in blocks above the ground level with a iron gate about 6 feet tall.

I have two more questions:
1. Is any steel/concrete foundation grid requireed below the stone wall?
2. Will this wall need to be demolished at the time of construction of house?

Any better alternative for a fence that can be reused after house construction?

Hi ,
Fencing cost will be 100 to 140 per rft for barbed wire fencing with four row wires and stone pillar at every 10'.In case you need a cement block wall it would cost 80/- per sft and additional stone foundation @ 100/- per cft.
You don't need any other steel foundation for fence wall.You can reuse the cement blocks during construction if they are in good condition.Since they don't plaster the wall it can sustain about 10 years .
Yes the fence wall need to demolished to built a new strong one.If it is done now properly you need to remove only the front portion of it.

Rft is running feet distance.you need to give the plot size or total length of fencing required to cover your
Plot.

area is not what is used for fencing. It is perimeter, so you need to give the length and breadth (50 x80) or the perimeter (sum of all sides).

for a 50x80 feet - the fencing required will be (2*(50+80)) = 260 RFt.
