RTGS number in registration documents

Hi,
I am buying a property and and got a clearance from lawyer to buy. But the question I have is when we prepare the registration documents we need to to add the DD number or RTGS number. In my case it’s huge amount so I am planning to do RTGS. I don’t want to transfer the money well before the registration to get RTGS number. In this case what is the best possible option?

DD is the better option. Some banks will reduce the DD charges based on the amount and the average monthly balance that you keep with them. Like you mentioned, transferring a large amount before the registration is risky, so my suggestion is to take a DD and quote the DD number in the registration documents.
