Hi all,
Due to incessant rains last night , this morning we notice water seepage in many parts of our walls.
How serious of an issue is this ?
What does this indicate ?
What are the most cost effective ways to rectify it ?
Water seepage through the walls
Re: Water seepage through the walls
The dampness will cause fungal growth, leading to a foul smell indoors.
This kind of fungal growth is a health hazard if left to continue.
I would talk to a mason or painter to have waterproofing solution/paint applied onto the exterior walls as the first step.
There have been similar instances reported on this forum earlier itself, please search for the same to see which would be a suitable approach for you
