Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
Hi Guys,
Attached are pics of the pooja room wall tiles that has been laid around 2 weeks back and all of the sudden started seeing white patches around the joints of the tiles . can you please suggest what might be the reason for it .. ( is it bad quality tiles or acid wash has caused this issue )
Thanks
Sidh

Re: Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
Could be both the acid concentration , and poor tile quality. If i were you , i would have applied some mansion wax polish to that and used a grinder ( grinder tip to be soft cloth) and rubbed it and tried to repolish it. I am not 100% sure it will work , but you can give it a try.

Thanks Sudheer for feedback ..
My engineer said this is due to curing done on the back wall of pooja round and suggested to wait for some more days.
Thanks

Re: Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
Hi Sidh
Its due to moisture gone behind the tile. Don't try any polishing on tiles. Its not recommended to do any of such things.
If you have finished grouting of the joints just wait for some days for it to dry and it should turn normal.
These are regular issues with low grade tiles.

Re: Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
Thanks Praveen for the input, I will wait for another week or two.
Please let me know if I would be seeing such issues in future also. I would prefer to get them removed and go with good quality tiles.
Thanks
Sidh

Re: Pooja Room Wall Tiles issues
This is due to grouting materails( filler of joints). Not bcz of tiles. kindly provide the detail of joint filler used for this tile joint. try to remove the tile joint of sample. and do acid wash and and come to conculsion
