Check with Civil-Aid Technoclinic Private Limited.. I think they do assess completed project. They have office in Banashankari 2nd Stage.

Point taken rajnikant ,
Please throw some light on How do we identify the credentials of a structural engineer ? and professional liability
a) Is there a licence from BBMP\BDA specific for structural that we look for ?
b) Is it Mandatory to have a M.Tech in Structural engineering ?
c) Is there any Certification\Registration body that can clearly highlight structural vs civil ?
d) top structural professional membership\affiliation to structural professional bodies to look for.
e) Can a civil diploma holder get (a),(c),(d) ?
Nowadays lot of IS code compliant easy\cheap structural design software's are available , design templates for typical simple structures are easily .
available. punch in the SBC ,seismic and few other design parameters , it gives u every thing. with grad math and physics one can DIY if interested. ,with no professional degrees. for all we know this may be the workflow of many who claim to be structural engineers.
Liability
a) IS there a duration liability for the Structural Engineer, I have heard 1 or 2 year after the design , the structural engineer is not liable .Any laws?
b) what do structural engineers indemnify in a client agreement and what is fair and legal ?

These are clearly structural cracks, Have you constructed on cantilever slabs, As I can see these cracks looks like they are on the peripheral wall which could crack due to deflections. keep a close eye on the size of the cracks if they are getting any bigger consult a structural engineer immediately.

Hi Raman
Looking at the cracks i can only understand them as settlement cracks not structural cracks as long as they didn't cut across any beam or column. In images i don't see them crossing over columns or beams.
To my understanding these could have happened for various reasons like plinth settlement / cantilever shrink .I would suggest not to get them fixed right away rather you wait for some more time to understand of the cracks are developing further .If they are stopped at current state you can fix them using polymer based crack filler and paint them.
There is nothing to panic or worry as long as you see the cracks on structural members. You can call any qualified structural engineer for site inspection for further suggestions and fixes.

Judging by these pictures it looks like these cracks have developed in the concrete and plastered surface over a period of time. My advice would be to use a crack filler compound and address the problem as soon as possible. If you allow these cracks to develop or widen even further then you would end up with a far larger problem than you currently have. Rather than having to find an expensive solution later, it would be advisable to fix it right now. In my experience as a contractor I have preferred using roff crackfill. It is a polymer modified crack filler which is effective on plastered and un-plastered surfaces. I would definitely recommend using it as it not only is a quick and easy to use solution but it will also prove to be a long lasting one.

Hi Hani317,
i am not going to solve the problem, but i wanted to correlate what i have see is correct!
when i looked a the cracks most of these are around the columns and also where ever there is electrician and centering guys put their hand around on the wall, correct me if i am wrong,
I have a question, did you build the wall and then went for mould or all moulds first and then walls?
Any how from my experience:
cracks around the columns comes for two reasons
1. if the footing of the column is not properly done then you can see it at all the floors
2. if the mason leaves the gap between column and block then air will get trapped in this and it will eventually cause all these cracks with in no time.
cracks at lintel level:
when centering labor trying to do lintel centering work then there is a change that already place blocks will get detached from the wall these places you can defiantly expect cracks.
Electrician can also contribute to cracks (but hairline cracks only) if proper filling is not done by mason for the wall pipes placed given by then you can defiantly see cracks on the wall
in user case 90 % cracks at columns and at lintel level and these are because of bad masonry work.
