Beware of HDFC Realty agent - SivaKumar

Hello All,

I would like to share my experience with the HDFC realty agent Mr. SivaKumar.

Couple of weeks back I received a call from this guy inquiring whether am I looking for a plot. Since I'm looking for a site i told him yes and provided him my requirement like i need a 30*40 BDA site in BSK 6th stage. after a week this guy called me saying he has a site in BSK 6th stage 3rd block site #36 from direct owner and quoted 3150/- SqFT. I was really surprised and excited about the price. He mentioned that the price is low because its from the direct owner. I even asked how far its from 100Ft road. He said its 2.5km from 100 ft road but its 2 mins walk from the 80ft road.

I decided to have a look at the site. So called up this guy the very next day for the site visit. since I reached there first and directly went to the site itself (beside the proposed BDA complex). I waited for this guy and after 30 mins this guy called me saying he is already in the site and its pretty clear that this is guy no where near the actual BDA site. I provided my landmark and asked him where were you waiting. This guy said sir the site is in the otherside of the 100ft road come lets go. I asked him how is that possible. this is the BSK 3rd block and this is the site #36, at the entrance itself we have the layout plan. He said these sites starts from #14XX so this is not the site. So I started with this guy to the actual site location. He took me to the other side of the 100 ft road adjacent to 4th block and told me this is also 3rd block and showed me the site #36.

Since I have seen the location multiple times in the wikimapia I immediately figured that its pavamanapura layout. In order to get the truth from him I asked him multiple questions but for everything he started lying. like where is the 80ft road and where is the layout plan board, is cauvery water available. Finally he said he is not sure of the layout but this is not BDA site.

So buyers (especially new guys) beware of this guy. Reason being i would have believed this guy if I havent seen the wikimapia for the different areas in BSK 6th stage.

I also had a bad experience with HDFC realty agent, Mr. Siva Kumar due to his dishonest practices. I had engaged with him regarding one of the rental property he has listed. I agreed to all terms & conditions laid down by him and he had promised to process the application asap, based on which I proceeded to terminate my current lease. But, then he started to prolong the process under false pretext and kept making excuses for over a week, at which point I had to make alternate arrangements. Since then I have noticed that he has kept revising the listing to progressively raise the rent. I have nothing against negotiating the rent terms, if so desired by the owner of property, but I expect the agent to be straightforward in all dealings and to keep other party apprised.
