RIP Ramesh Kumar.

Govt Should take strong measure to counter monopoly in Sand mining, young officers loose life due to such polices done in favour.
It is estimated that Bangalore needs 9000 Sand Lorries where majority is sourced from TN

A 10Wheeler load from Trichy to Hosur cost 24-28K. Used justdial trichy and got cauvery sand supplier and quote is as mentioned. but , when same load arrives in bangalore it is above 75k to 1L.
I am not sure who eats more..

I heard Karur sand can be brought for 55K, had to spend 4Hours at atibele.

This doesnt seem to be going anywhere, and all this when i had just started construction :(
I know nothing can replace river sand, but what are the closely-matched alternatives apart from RMC ?
