Good bathtub

Post by btprabhu »

Hi,

I'm looking for a bathtub (around 5' 6" in length) in the price range of 15-20k. I got a quote from Jaguar for a regular plain tub around 32k. Which material is good porcelain or acrylic for a bathtub ?
Please suggest a good brand.

Thanks,
Prabhu

acrylic may be less expensive, but it will lose its sheen and look dull. It catches stains more easily than porcelain.

My preference - no bath tub, just a shower stall. But if you are getting one, make sure it is a good quality one. My father got one - the dealer talked about all kinds of quality and all and in the end, it looked dull, was hard to clean and sprang a leak. What a waste, they could not use it after all that investment.

Hi

+1
Don't go for bathtub whether it a good brand or not, stains will be easily visible, if you don't clean regualarly it is looks pathetic. After time it will look dull and i don't think we don't use on regular basis, just for posh bathroom don't invest your money.

If you really need it You can consider for your kids room which can be smaller & kids can enjoy for some time.

Go for Shower Panel unit (Shower + Steam bath option) which is worth than the Bath tub.
