The plinth beam is at least 2ft high from GL.

Are you purchasing soil to fill it up ?

No i have the escavated mud which the contractor thinks will suffice if not will have to buy one load max.

The plinth beam is layed for 2 feet it came out well as the contractor used vibrator while putting the concrete.
tommorow will use JCB to fill up. I will also try to put summary of material qty consumed till plinth level. And also additional cost incurred which is not covered under the contract.

Hi m_d1982, Just now is saw the attached pdf files. In that you mentioned the sand price is 28500rs. For you chandapura is not even 6 or 7 kms. Pls go directly to sand lorry parking lot and fix the price. Now sand price came down. i thing for pillers and all every one use karur sand. Now karur sand price reduced. Now you can get the loads with in 20k. Near huskur market One more sand lorry parking lot is there, you can check there also. But dont go to the parking lot which is located near huskur bus stop. Most of the lorries are with filter sand

Even I am interested in knowing how exactly disbursement of loan is done. Also are material such as flooring, doors etc checked strictly? For example if i have granite in my bank estimate but used vitrified tiles etc. My intention is to get a higher amount sanctioned so that I have some flexibility in final stages.

@ Vijay.. Thats right i actually paid the meal charges twice :) . As we used gange for both footing and also while putting concrete to the Plinth Beam.
I have applied for the first partial disbursement, I have taken loan from Axis.
procedure wise - They just wanted me to fill the partial disbursement form with details of work done and A/c where i needed the cash to be transferred. the Rep said that post assessment they will make the payout.

@Rajesh... i am actally not much bothered about the price of material as i have given a Material contract. However i will inform the contractor about this options. The reason i mentioned the price for the sand is that i was present during the payment. the contract had given cash to one of the mason to pay the lorry driver somehow INR 500 note was missing so i was the neutral person who helped in recounting the notes :)

I took loan from SBI. 1st we collect all the bills from vendors. Later we came to know that it is dead waste. Now rules has changed. They dont ask any bills. they will send the verification guy near the site. He will decide the amount to be released. After site verification he will give the documents to bank. Based on that they will release the money. After loan sanctioned i asked 10 lakhs for second release. That to after finishing the centring work 1st floor. They released only 3 lakhs :o  Again they did the same. Later we understand the real problem and gave 2k to the field officer. Next day itself they transferred 10lakhs to my account. Dont know about private banks
