B-Katah for Revenue sites in NRI Layout,Ramamurthy Nagar

Hi

I happen to hear in NRI layout and in and around Ramamurthy nagar most of them are revenue sites, but brokers saying they have B-Katha by which they are saying it belong to BBMP so no issues and they have tax paid receipts etc.

Do anybody share is it so and what is implication in buying the sites

hi,b katha is not bbmp katha, it just katha for rergistration purpose, the site is stillrevenue site and you would have to pay tax to obtain bbmp katha.to bevery clear the site needs dc convertion.

That is right. In addition to tax, you need to pay the Akrama-Sakrama penalty as well to get the BBMP khata.
