New type of water tank

There is a new type of water tank in the market, I have
seen it in both Kaveri and Ganga brands. The material used
is LDP (or LLDP ..) This material looks very similar to the
unbreakable moulded luggage items. Tank itself looks very
sturdy with a bottle like design. Does anybody have
experience with this ?

What was the price range and the difference in terms of features of regular ones ?

Sorry, LLDP is the older one , newer ones are HDPE.
But whenever I talked to the dealer they say better go
for the old ones because they do not know how the new
tanks behave over time. They actively discouraged me from
buying the new tanks. Price difference is not much, about
10-15%.
