As mentioned in this forum, normal practice is to do the
groove cutting and lay the pipes for plumbing before
plastering. But it is also recommended that pressure
test be done before concealing the pipes in the wall.
Does this mean that during plastering the plumbing grooves
are not plastered ?
Can pressure test be done with only partially laid
pipes in the house ?

Re: Plumbing pressure test
not sure I understand your question.
Plastering is done after the pipes are laid and the pressure test is done.

Re: Plumbing pressure test
@blrsiteseeker,
I was enquring whether the walls are fully plastered before the
pressure test. I checked again, it seems the plumbing grooves
are not covered with plaster while doing the pressure test. When
the test passes, the grooves are patched. Apparently this patchwork
is not a problem because tiling is done on the walls which covers
all the patchwork.

Re: Plumbing pressure test
In my case, we did not even do plastering before the pressure test. The pipes were laid, pressure test done and only after that plastering started.
