why don't you post your expected price - (should become a rule on the forum - when people post without a price attached, reject the post), and also make it easier for you to get responses from only those who are really interested.

When I listed earlier with expected price (Rs.4200+/sq.ft., based on feedback from people living in the layout), I did not get any response or any feedback at all.

At present, I am located in US and I am trying to find out the fair market price through feedback. I want to sell it within a reasonable period of time.

Hi,
It is like bidding/open auction. another way to find out the market value. If somebody said in the layout some price and you want to sell, then ask them to Buy with a discount and sell it for more. They make money and you sell your plot without any pain.

I don't want to hurt any body and i have see this type of sale postings in MSN forums and here..

The price was given by a former colleague for many years (not "somebody") who bought a house in the layout and has been living there for 5+ years. Every seller has a right to expect a fair market price for the land as much as a buyer who wants to pay no more than the fair market price. Both the parties must do their ground work before making an informed decision.
