properties in jigani upgraded from panchayath to TMC

Hi, recently went to pay tax for plot near jigani (upkar meadows-kyalasanahalli) and found that the previous panchayat was closed and upgraded as TMC (Town muncipal corporation) . Good news for property owners. They will get TMC khatha instead of E-Khata which was provided by the panchayath earlier.
TMC khata issue starts from april is what I was told.
