Hi,
Fabrication cost is about rs. 150psqft. Tiles are cheap 16"*10" each cost about rs 15/. Go for double groove tiles at rs 25-26

thanks Nagzz, the person who gave me a quote for 158 sqft, for mangalore tile, single side, is around 280 per sft. That too without scaffolding and civil work. What do u think?/ please do let me know at the earliest. Once again appreciate your prompt answer

Biddappa. fabrication costs have no fixed or reference prices. any small welder becomes a fabricator and quotes prices. but 280 i feel is very high.
if you want, i can send u the details of the fabricator who did it at my house. prices, you need to talk to him direct. but reliable guy.

Tiles chejjas are not worth it. Over a period they become loose and fall-off. Also It is difficult to insulate the wall and the tile to prevent rain water from comming in. It is better you go for concrete chejja by drilling holes and making mesh and plastering.
