Dear members;

Two days back i mate solarizer solar water heater person, he said for 30x40 site, it is must to go for 200LPD as per bescom norms.
Is it true ?
Actually i was planning for 100LPD solar water heater for my duplex house on 30x40 site for four members. Can i proceed with 100LPD ?

First of all 100 LPD is not enough for 4 people. Second, I am not too sure, it is based on the number of floors or site, there is a need to go for 200 lpd

are there any minimum requirements from BESCOM on the minimum solar water capacity (like 100,200 LPD etc) that one should install to get a permanent electricity connection?

I am planning to go for a 100 LPD solar water heater for 4 people in our flat which is in the last but one floor. Builder is quoting 32K.
Is this reasonable?

@tendlu, as far i know for a 30×40 site we need to install 200liters as per bescom, that was told by my contractor.

@blorebuddy, we recently installed solarizer spring model of 200liters for 33500.
